The Afterschool Art School is an initative to make art more accesible to young artists. With art courses typically being the first on the chopping block many students do not receive art classes in schools or have access to an outside art class. This program is to fill that gap an create a space for young artists to learn the fundamentals of art making while giving them an opportunity to explore various techniques and tools. ​

Eventually, the Afterschool Art School is looking to become a place where students can come to take art courses with local artists, experiment with new tools and eventually be exposed to local museums and galleries.
